MONITORING, EVALUATION, ACCOUNTABILITY & LEARNING (MEAL)

Mr. Francis Beno Mwitumba (Head of Department)

This section works directly in collaboration with project/program Coordinators. The head of this section is the MEAL Coordinator and is responsible for coordinating, monitoring and evaluation activities within the Organization.

• Prepare monitoring tools, Data Quality Assessment
• Ensuring SMART project i.e. Indicators and Objectives.
• Participate in preparing project Monitoring plans. 
• Tracking the progress of the project implementation
• Mentoring and coaching staff on SMART project design
• Ensuring proper data management systems are in place
• Ensuring project implementation is in line with the planned activities, objectives, and indicators while observing challenges including unplanned changes, and providing advice accordingly.
• Documenting project changes/outcomes including success stories for learning purposes.
• Ensuring timely reporting to meet deadlines.
• Reviewing plans and reports from the fields 
• Prepare terms of References of Evaluation, preparing and conducting reflection meetings.
• Conducting needs assessment/surveys to obtain baseline data for different project
• In collaboration with the Management team, plan for fundraising events.
• Responsible to facilitate networking with like-minded stakeholders for resource mobilization to sustain projects.
• Ensure resources are utilized sustainably while observing value for money.
