The CICC project intends to improve the livelihoods of the 5,000 inhabitants in Mbeya District Council from 16 Villages found in Ikukwa, Itawa, Igale, Inyala, Itewe, Swaya, Tembela and Ihango Wards.
The project participants include; Vulnerable young girls and boys, and adolescents who just completed primary education (with or without children) who are more susceptible to crime, drug abuse, chronic alcohol, unemployment and prostitution, early pregnancy, early marriage, low-income families, poor nutrition and health as well as HIV/AIDS.
The Project Objectives:
- Strengthening the awarenes of ihabitants in the 16 Villages of Mbeya District to cope with the effects of climate change.
